Hey Y'all

This morning God blessed us with the most beautiful weather! We loaded the buses around 8:15 for a 6 hour drive to Discovery United Methodist Church in Richmond, Virginia. We arrived at the church pretty early, which was great because we got to spend time together just hanging out and enjoying each others company. One of the pastors at the church even brought his bet baby tiger. That was pretty cool. At 7 we finally performed what would be our last concert. You could sense God's presence through the entire thing. But when He really showed up most was after the concert. The church graciously allowed us to stay in their sanctuary and use it as a place to reflect together on these past 8 days. We all sat in a huge circle to sing and share the many ways God has worked in us throughout this year's tour. Some people shared their testimonies, while others just gave examples of "mountain top" moments where they felt God this week. Everyone's experience was different but one thing we all agreed on was that we became a unity. It became evident that Love Unlimited has changed each and every one of us in a positive way and through this tour has bonded us together in a way we could not even have possibly imagined. Sharing with each other helped us all realize that we are not in this walk alone, but instead we're in it together as brothers and sisters in Christ. It reminded me of Ephesians 4:1-3,

"As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received, Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing in one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

God worked in incredible ways this tour and hopefully we can each take what he has done in us and bring it back home. We have all had a wonderful time but we are so ready to be back with our families and friends! I cant wait to be back in Georgia, where I can drink sweet tea!!

Thank you all so much for all of your prayers and everything else you did to make this tour possible for us. You are all a blessing and we can't wait to get to sing for y'all at our homecoming concert!

See you soon!

Hey ya'll! We had an awesome last day in New York, where we got to see the awesome Manhattan skyline from the top of the Empire State Building and ate lunch at a pier on New York Harbor.  The highlight of the day was  definitely our amazing concert here in Jersey though, one of those "mountaintop experiences" we're always talking about.  We're having an awesome time on tour, but I know everyone's still looking forward to seeing all our families and friends back in Augusta. During the concert today, one bible verse kept going through my head while I was singing:

Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see."

Hey y'all!

Today we went to the Anchor House. It was such an amazing experience for all of us. We got to interact with a group of people who have completely different backgrounds than we do, but we all share a common love for God. As we worshipped, they joined right in with us. Several LU members shared their testimonies and the people at Anchor House absolutely loved hearing them. We also got to hear a few of testimonies form the people of Anchor House and their praise band perform. It was awesome to see how God can bless us all, even when we make some of the worst mistakes. We all felt like they were just as much a blessing to us than we were to them. Even after our concert, many of us were so moved by the spirit that we hang around to continue worshiping.

After we left the Anchor House, we found out that we had missed the fairy to Ellis Island. We then decided to spend some time at a park near the island.

We ended our night with a great dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square… all 125 of us!! ha After dinner, we took a LONG walk in the city and got to see many popular sites.

Continue checking back daily for Updates and Pictures! Thanks so much for all your prayers.

Psalm 30:2-4 "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. You, Lord, brought me up from the relm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit."

Hello everyone!

Today is day 5 and what an amazing day it has been! We woke up bright and early to begin our day with a morning concert at New Fairfield UMC. The minute we waked through the doors the congregation made us feel so welcome. You could tell that everyone there was so passionate for Christ and everyone could truly feel the Holy Spirit touch them throughout the whole service. After a long but powerful two hour service at the church we ended our day with a fun visit to Coney Island. the exciting roller costers and delicious, greasy carnival food was a great way to end our day. As we walked back to the buses down the boardwalk beside the peaceful ocean and bright lights of the carnival rides it was hard not to think of the precious creator of it all and think Him for the beautiful life He has given us. None of us can wait for what tomorrow has in store for us at the Anchor House and we ask your continued prayers as we continue to spread God's wonderful nerves in New York!

"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven."

Matthew 5:16

Hey, today was great we started off strong with small group bonding time, then on our drive to Philadelphia we had bonding time with our bus. Philadelphia was amazing. It was very historical and the Liberty Bell was very interesting as was Independence Hall. Everybody had a great time and even though we did not sing we praised the Lord our God by our positive attitudes. All in all it was a good day.

"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:17

Hey everyone!

God blessed us with another beautiful day today - and by beautiful I mean hot, humid, & rainy! Despite the less-than-perfect weather conditions, we were able to have a wonderful outdoor concert in Baltimore where we were uplifted & inspired by seeing God's joy shine through an adorable little girl and a courageously dancing workman in the audience. (See photos) After the concert we had the opportunity to talk to many members of the crowd; one man, Mickey, shared his incredible story of overcoming paralysis through the power of God. His faith & absolute confidence in the Lord were unmistakable, reminding me of Colossians 1:16-17, "By Him all things were created: things in heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rules or authorities; all things were created by Him & for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together."

Mickey was a man who knew that he was created by God and to serve God. He never doubted the Lord's sovereignty, even through great struggles. After this inspirational experience, we all went to a baseball game - go Orioles! The game was a blast, and they even played some southern country music! We can't wait for all the other opportunities the Lord has in store for us this choir tour. Please keep us in your prayers!

Today we traveled 7 hours to Manasses, VA. Despite the long bus ride, it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with one another. The concert was great! And the dinner provided might've been even better! The Lord's prescience was in the sanctuary as we glorified the risen king. God is working in so many ways and we continue to get glimpses of how powerful God is. The best way to describe what is happening on tour can be explained in Romans 15:5-6 "May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Hey everyone! Coming back to my home town of Laurinburg, NC was great. We had an amazing time worshiping God with St. Luke UMC. Everyone in the building was on that "mountain top." We are on the road to Manassas, VA for another great concert.

When I was singing, I constantly was thinking about how blessed we are to have an opportunity like this. It reminded me of this verses

Ephesians 5:15-14:

"Be very careful then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, "making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is"

I encourage everyone to continues praying for us as we spread God's love.

God Bless,
